   |  | . Five villages were given the gift of clean water! Thanks to all who have raised money for wells in Zambia through One Life. You have truly blessed five villages (Katalilo, Bundu, Ntanisha, Chikoko, and Muyoba) with clean water. All these villages used to draw water for drinking from nearby streams. In the dry seasons these streams would dry up and made the community members walk long distances in search of water for drinking and farming. Some villages had no water resources, for example in Ntanisha village there are no streams. The village depended on unprotected shallow wells which can carry so many germs and diseases. These five wells have brought great joy and relief to all the community members! They now have access to safe clean drinking water. In turn, the wells also have decreased the spread of the diseases such as diarrhea. Click here to see photos from each village | |||||||||||||||||
